Nice apartment with excellent location. One bed is, however, crooked and slightly unstable.
Lone Böhlers, Kolding (5/5)
Very good location, beautiful and big apartment, easy to cook.
Véronique Fraccaro, Bruxelles (5/5)
The apartment was located in a brilliant spot, right in the middle of everything. The owner was very welcoming and very helpful. Really good size apartment and great facilities. Couldnt have been any better
Kay Johnston, Accrington (5/5)
Outstanding location, warm welcome and very comfortable.
Paul Grundy, Keighley (5/5)
Cosy and comfortable.
Teh An Lee, Singapore (5/5)
The owner was very nice and welcoming. The apartment was nicer and more spacious than it appeared in the photos, so that was a bonus. The location is very good.
Mark Gelao, London (5/5)
The apartment is in a fantastic location and you step out onto the main pedestrian area. Its quite spacious and quirky which we loved and the wifi was fast. The owner is a gracious host and we would definitely recommend this apartment.
Matt Eastwood, Crowthorne (5/5)
Thank you. We really enjoyed the use of your apartment.
John Russell, Peterborough (5/5)
Very friendly and hospitable owners, the flat was very spacious, with beautiful light. The best thing about the flat is the location - we were right in the centre of all the activity, and within striking distance of everything else we wanted to see.
Alison Davies, Hitchin (5/5)
beautiful and central. beautiful apartment in central position with artistic decor, beds comfortable, bathroom a little bit outdated. Owner helpful, we had no problem at all
Andrea Fugolo, NA (5/5)
Fabulous location; plenty of room; comfortable.. It was a great location; street was loud, but from the back bedroom, it was fine. Noise didnt bother our adult children. Kitchen was very sparcely supplied, but it was fine for breakfast and lunch. Loved having a front living room separate from the main room where our adult boys slept. That gave us some space. Shower was small but perfectly fine. We were very comfortable, and Owner was very helpful. LOVED our stay!
Susan Panella, NA (5/5)
The apartment is centrally located and is exceptionally light and comfortable, with large rooms. The owner is funny and easy to deal with.
Lene Kaaber, Ås (5/5)
Perfect. we loved the apartment, the location, the size, the several beds and we had space. that was important to us. The bathroom was below expectations. But that did not harm the experience and was definitely not a problem for us. The owner is a wonderful and helpful person, very reliable.
Dolores, Liechtenstein (5/5)
Cool cool cool! Total fantastic location, really nice apartment at a cheaper price than hotel! Highly recommended! And we will rent it again the next time we go to Copenhagen!
Anja Friis, Århus C (5/5)
Lovely apartment with great location. Friendly owner. This is a very nice apartment!
Kirsten, Fredericia (5/5)
Super location, perfect bedding and excellent host. Everything was there for an excellent start of our weekend. Location +++ Bedding ++ Host ++ City ++ Prices +
Ramon, Amsterdam (5/5)
A wonderful stay, in a spacious and beautifully styled apartment. Greeted on arrival and given a very friendly welcome and tour of the apartment and its amenities. The apartment is very spacious and beautifully styled with a very homely feel to it. The location is perfect and superb for exploring Copenhagen. We had a wonderful time in Copenhagen and staying in such lovely accommodation really made our time such a comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable experience. Thank you very much!
Matt, Birmingham (5/5)
Absolutely perfect apartment in a great location. We stayed at the apartment for 2 nights and really could not have asked for a better place. The apartment is centrally located (we walked for the entire three days) - but is close to Central Station (10 min walk) if you need trains (to and from airport) or the metro. The apartment is based on one of the main shopping streets - and has a great bakery a few minutes up the road, which was perfect for breakfast. Cash point directly outside as well which is always helpful. The apartment itself was amazing. Much bigger than we expected with all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay in Copenhagen. Fully working kitchen and bathroom (which was going to be refurbished the week after we left so should be even nicer now), with towels and hairdryer provided. A lovely host. Met us as soon as we arrived at the apartment to show us around and told us to contact him if there were any problems. The only minor problem could be noise from the street. However, as the apartment is on the fourth floor, we never found this to be a big problem. The convenience and value of the apartment more than makes up for it! We would recommend this apartment to anyone who is planning a holiday to Copenhagen.
Kaz, London (5/5)
Better location does not exist. Large, bright and comfortable apartment. Look forward to return.
Verner, Stenstrup (5/5)
Great location. This is a great central location for seeing Copenhagen. The apartment is charming, clean and roomy, and the host was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay. One of the beds faces the street, and it was noisy until the wee hours of the morning. If you need to use that bed, earplugs would be helpful if you are a light sleeper.
Ann, Champaign, IL (5/5)
Great location and apartment it was the prefer place to stay for us and was great for access to the tourist sights and the wonderful café and bars in Copenhagen, just needs to better mattress in the main bedroom.
David Lowe, Deeragun (4/5)
The apartment has a good location in the middle of the pedestrian street. Minimal noise from the street. Ok price for the rent. Too few things in the kitchen drawers to 6 people. Tv is too technical to get to work. Rainwater pulled through the ceiling in the bedroom and we got rainwater in the bed on the last night.
Rita Skovgaard, Aulum (4/5)
Very well located appartment, very charming and cosy. Very nice owner. The bathroom needs some refreshment. Curtains or shutters would be a key added value (We were all awake at 4 in the morning due to the bright light). There is only one independent room and this is not really obvious from the appartment description.
Veronique Deroche-Gamonet, Merignac (4/5)
Fantastic location and very spacious. A little bit of street noise but nothing compared to the church bells! As a few people have said, the bathroom lets the apartment down. Im afraid I couldnt bring myself to brush my teeth in a blue sink. The shower was a bit messy but we all had decent hot showers. My only complaint really was that the orange coloured limescale around the bottom which I thought perhaps had just been building up over a period of time was actually cleanable! I wiped a tissue on it and it came off. I had to fight the urge to give the bathroom a good clean but I was on holiday so I had to walk away! I hope the owner isnt paying someone to clean the apartment because they are throwing their money away. I took antibacterial wipes with me and wipes all the sides down and although everything was tidy, I dont think it had been cleaned properly as the wipes had a lot of dirt on them. Saying all that I would definitely stay here again as it was close to all the attractions and a local Netto for cheap snacks. Beds were comfy and bedding very clean.
Mrs Victoria Smoker, Chatham (4/5)
The apartment was in a great location, the rooms were spacious and the hosts were friendly.
Rebecca Taroni, Lancashire (4/5)
It was an OK apartment - even though it appeared very worn. There were no wine glasses. Nice that we did not have had to bring the bed linen, but please next time bring tea towels. It lacked a coffee maker, we were the 5 people, so the small espresso machine was not very helpful. Otherwise an OK apartment with a VERY central location, to the things we would be doing. Come back perhaps again another time.
Lone Fjord, Esbjerg V (4/5)
Excellent location. The location is so perfect where its a stones throw away to all the shops and Restaurants plus 711 convenience store etc. The apartment is quite old and needs to be renovated - especially the bathroom and the kitchen area. There is only one bathroom/toilet - may not be suitable for a large group. Good wi-fi connection and useful information written on a book. However, the service provided by the owners were excellent - they were very helpful by booking a taxi for us to go the airport.
Emily Mitchell, NA (4/5)
Good apartment-great location. A spacious apartment with a great location. We travelled with three teenagers and well working wifi was a big plus as they wanted keep in touch with their friends during our stay. Apartment fulfilled our expectations. Hot water was really hot and unfortunately the thermostat of shower tap didnt work.
Satu Marjo, NA (4/5)
very spacious and gorgeous location!. The flat is very spacious and very centrally located. I had the impression that the owner is a sort of artist ...vey nice paintings and pictures on the walls. One tip: it would have been nice to have towels in the kitchen and also better towesl in the bathroom.
Claudia, NA (4/5)
very central, large, all ok. large flat, very central situated, friendly wellcome, all you need available
Christine, Köln (4/5)
So central to everything. We were very happy that the apartment was in Stroeget, Owner was there to greet us and get us settled in the apartment. To just be able to walk out the main entrance and be right in the main area was fantastic. A microwave would have been handy to have in the apartment. We would come back here again if we go back to Copenhagen, great position.
leostar, Perth, Western Australia (4/5)
Excellent central location. Good service from the provider with a prompt quick tour of the property, lift, entrance, keys etc. A spacious apartment well suited to families and singles travelling together.Excellent location in the centre which is the best advert for the apartment. The lack of curtains could be an issue. Safest to travel with ear plugs and sleep masks. Possibly made up beds would be a plus. Bedding was neither ironed nor in place, it was left to us to make up our own beds. Very tired towels. A plus was the fact that we didnt have to pay a breakage deposit - Owner is possibly a good judge of character! The lack of plugs in the sinks and basins was bizarre and possibly the cleaning of same + shower drainage needs attention. Also, one of the remotes for the TV seemed to be missing. We (2 middle aged ladies) found our 4 day stay excellent though and would recommend the apartment to friends for a short stay.
Gillian, Chester (4/5)
Perfect base for an urban stay in Copenhagen. The location of the appartment is excellent - in the very heart of Copenhagen! The appartment was perfect for four persons; there was enough space for everyone. The street noise was notable especially during the weekend but a good night sleep was quaranteed by earplugs :) . The kitchen and bathroom were functional as well but they would need a complete renovation sooner or later. Thank you!
Family from Finland, Turku, Finland (4/5)
Super apartment with fantastic location.
David, Kristiansand (4/5)
Convenient location. The apartment is centrally located, which meant that we could get to most destinations by walking. There are many restaurants and pubs for food and entertainment. The appartment itself worked well for 4 adults. The kitchen and bathroom could use some updating, but everything was working. Available Wi-Fi is appreciated as it allows you to stay in contact with home.
Canada Goose, Toronto, Canada (4/5)
There is no better location in Copenhagen. We really liked the apartment, its location and ambience. What is both an advantage and disadvantage is very central location...you can walk everywhere but there is also a lot of noise until very early morning hours. Overall, we were very satisfied.
Brano, Bratislava (4/5)
Very good apartment can really recommend it, everything is close by. Nice and friendly owner.
Sonja, Middelfart (4/5)
Lovely flat and flexible owner - which meant a lot for our arrival and departure. One of the best locations in the heart of Copenhagen if it is the target of the stay, as it was for us. We will be happy to return.
Lene, Haderslev (4/5)
Great little place - perfect location. The flat is in the center of everything you would want to do+. Perfect size for 3-4 guests & clean, any more it could get a little cramped. The flat is close to Tivoli Gardens, pubs, restaurants, loads of shopping & less than a 10 minute walk from the metro station to/from the airport. Theres also a supermarket & a 7/11 nearby for necessities. Most convenient is the ATM machine located just outside the building. Although some of the amenities listed we did not see in the flat, I am sure if you ask the owner pre-arrival he will take care of them for you - the owner was very nice & easy to work with. We had to ask for Internet access as it was not initially available. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.
AprilA, Atlanta, USA (4/5)
The bathroom is very old and the apartment in not well cleaned . The kitchen needs some towels and the kattle must be absolutly changed! The apartment is in a wonderful location, very centrally .
Tiziana Pezzotti, Marone (3/5)
Well fitted appartment in an excellent location. Overall impression is okay but kitchen and bathroom are really dirty. As a frequent guest of self-catered appartments I can distinguish between Hotel rooms and appartments but the condition of a bathroom and a kitchen like the ones on this flat is not acceptable.
Pilar Heras, Barcelona (3/5)
Great location but apartment could do with a little TLC. The apartment was large and spacious and was in a great location in the center of Copenhagen. However both the kitchen and the shower room are in need of updating - in fact the cooker oven did not work at all and there was no door on the shower. Also the bedding was of poor quality with very small uncomfortable pillows. Having said that the apartment was very large and bright and suited us for a short stay.
Patrick OConnor, NA (3/5)
We were well received. We were really happy with the apartments location was super close to everything. Ok beds, but there was not clean in the kitchen and bathroom. There was dirty, so we did not have food in the apartment but ate out and were only there to sleep. It is ok if it is old but that may well be clean, and we chose this apartment to make some food ourself but we did not want to. Kitchen and bathroom with very poor standard.
Malene Svensmark, Lunderskov (3/5)
Great location but apt needs work to brought up to standard. Flat is in a great location to access the sights of the city, BUT it is very noisy as it faces the street and there are no curtains to block the light. The flat is old and worn with a grungy kitchen and bathroom. There is no shower door or curtain thus water sprays onto the bathroom floor unless you huddle in the far corner of the shower. The bathroom sink tap sprays water in every direction but down. BEWARE the fridge power is linked to a light switch which was accidentally turned off while figuring out which switch did what. Full of owners belongings so you are really crashing in someones flat, not renting your own space. Also, even though the flat was booked 2 months ahead and our deposit paid, we were unable to get hold of the manager/owner. Three days before leaving the USA we still did not have any way to get the keys. An email to the booking agent was replied as we no longer handle apartments after the booking. We wrote a snarky email back to them and that initiated the contact from the owners niece saying that the owner was sick and that she would be our contact person. After that the key pickup went smoothly. Her comment about the flat was it is old, but we love it.
James Fletcher, NA (3/5)
Great location but pretty basic. We loved the location and the people we dealt with were very nice. However the bathroom was terrible. I was travelling with two older ladies who both felt unsafe when showering due to the instability of the shower recess. there also needs to be some clarification regarding a 3 bedroom apartment and an apartment with 3 beds. 2 of the beds in this apartment were in the living rooms i.e. it is a one bedroom apartment with 3 beds in it. The beds were very comfortable. We booked this apartment for before and after our cruise. Host(our contact) was very helpful and responded to our criticisms as best she could before we returned after the cruise i.e. she put light bulbs in the lights in the kitchen and a non slip mat in the shower. It is an old building and no doubt has plumbing problems as the shower and basin drained very slowly e.g. after brushing teeth at night the water had not drained by the following morning!
Marsha Watson, NA (3/5)
Great Central Location. The flat is in an excellent position on the top floor and has good levels of light. There was a lot of space for a family of four and the apartment had a very retro feel as it had an old kitchen and a very old bathroom. All fine for us on a two night stay and with whom we arranged the stay could not have been more attentive.
Roderick 60, NA (3/5)
Thank you for a lovely stay in a well located apartment and a welcoming owner. We had a relaxing time and will definitely come back again.
Tove, Rønne (3/5)
Needs updating. Location along Stroget is excellent! Very central and easy to find bakeries and cafes nearby. However, the kitchen and bathroom look rather old and some furniture pieces definitely need to be replaced with new ones or at least have new upholstery for example the sofa in the living room.
Yin, Singapore (3/5)
Okay. Good Points. Apartment well equiped, comfortable bed, broadband, spacious, nice & warm (it was sub zero outside), central location, nice owner. Less good. Apartment is in need of a complete overhall, bathroom and kitchen very tired, as are some of the furnishings. It could be a great place with some investment. The lack of curtains and some of the decor reminded me of "male student acommodation". In its current condition probaly more suited for young people.
Geostart, Solihull, UK (3/5)
Perfect location for a week-end stay. We had a great time in Copenhagen, and really enjoyed living in this perfectly located apartement. The noise from the street was a bit annoying, but not unexpected. The apartement was nice, but quite old. Especially the bathroom could need some renovation. We also found that the kitchen was quite poorly equipped, but since we had all our meals out of the house, this wasnt a big problem. (An empty fridge, though, would have been appreciated - not very nice to find other peoples milk and eggs there...) Thanks a lot to the owner who waited till quite late to show us around and give us the keys! No doubt, we would come again for a week-end stay, but maybe not for a whole week.
Gillia We, Stavanger (3/5)
Central location, good space but old and noisy. Nice and friendly owner with a spacious appartment, extremelly well located very downtown, but only 1 bedroom, the other double bed is in the dining room. There are no curtains on the windows so you get up with the sun (early in the summertime !) after a short night as it is quite noisy in the pedestrian street where the appartment is located with restaurants & pubs, having live music until 03:00 in the morning sometimes ! The cleanliness is not the best point of this old appartment where everything is quite used and not always easy or comfortable to use (beds are quite soft, dirty sofa, no coffee machine, not enough clean dishes to cook, no kitchen towels ...etc...). Last but not least, we think the rent is nearly overpriced.
severine, France (3/5)
Julia, Spain (3/5)
The apartment was good located and nice, but not very clean, the bathroom was horrible, we didnt find everything we needed at the kitchen ( for example, we were 3 persons and there was only one cup for coffee and no kitchentowel) and the bed was not confortable. I found it far to expensive.
Kirsten Jacobsen, Huixquilucan/edo. De México (2/5)
Overated. Our first impression was that the location was good, but the apartment was rather "tired" looking. Once we moved in we discovered that it was very unclean and my sister-in-law and I spent some time doing serious cleaning before we felt we could stay there. There were insufficient cleaning materials available and we actually went out and bought cleaning products. There was no usable mop, so the floor, which didnt appear to have been cleaned recently, had to stay dirty. We vacuumed as well as we could, but the vacuum bag was full and there were no spares. We contacted the owner who promised to bring what we needed but never did. There were dirty dishes in the dish washer and insufficient crockery for the five of us, namely, only one coffee mug, only four dishes, only a very large saucepan, no smaller one, a frypan which had been put away in the cupboard dirty, and other crockery which wasnt very clean. In the bathroom there was no shower curtain so all the water went out on to the floor and everything about the bathroom was old, tired, and unpleasant. The great location turned out to be very noisy during the night as the streets were full of noisy people all night. It really is only a one bedroom apartment with a cupboard defining another area as a place for a bed, but certainly should not be called a bedroom. There was no privacy in it. Our three days there could easily have been so much better with some thought and care on the part of the owner as it could be a lovely apartment with some attention to detail and thought for the people who are staying there. Getting a professional cleaner would be a great place to start.
Answer: Dear Michele, Thanks for your feedback and suggestions. We'll make sure that the owner gets these in order to improve coming stays. Best regards, The All Copenhagen Apartments team.
